This tour itinerary suggested by the Siquijor Provincial Tourism Office are for those who want to take a breath of clean and fresh air and immerse in nature, while enjoying the scenic view of the hills, the majestic Mt. Bandilaan National Park and several others. 

Cantabon Cave (Cantabon, Siquijor, Siquijor)

Cantabon Cave is an impressing 800 – meter-long cave situated at the north-eastern side of Mt. Bandilaan. Being one of the island’s most visited tourist destination, an amazing spelunking adventure awaits for those who braves to enter the cave. Crystal terraces, the King’s Bed, Shower Bell and Angel’s Bath are the cave’s hidden treasure and are definitely a must-see experience.

Mt. Bandilaan National park (Siquijor, Siquijor)

Located in the midst of Siquijor Island, Mt Bandilaan is a stunning 212 hectares of Forest Reserve declared in 1940 under Presidential Proclamation 523 by then President Manuel L. Quezon.  It rises 557 meters above sea level and is the highest peak in the province.  On its apex stands a 15 meter tall viewing tower where nature lovers can enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view of the entire island while bathing in the breeze of fresh cool air.  It is the biggest watershed of the island and home to numerous flora and fauna including the endangered Hypsipetes Siquijorensis a streak-breasted Bulbul endemic in Siquijor. Mt. Bandilaan is the source of various medicinal trees and plants used by the traditional or folk healers of the island and the venue of the famous “Pahi-uli”: Siquijor Healing  Festival celebrated during the Holy Week.

Siquijor Butterfly Garden (Cang-apa, Larena, Siquijor)

Located in Sitio Cabilao, Cangapa, in Larena Municipality, this butterfly garden is home to several stunning butterfly species. The owner said that the garden is a conservation project because they breed butterflies naturally as they try to save the remaining existing butterfly species in the island.

Kagusuan Beach (Minalulan, Maria, Siquijor)

For those who want to have a pleasant time with a tranquil beach vibe, Kagusuan Beach is a great spot. It is a long stretched quiet beach known for its crystal clear waters and white sandy shores, with giant coral boulders on the back-drop and inviting azure sea-water.

Lugnason Falls (Napo, San Juan, Siquijor)

Located on the southwest side of Siquijor, this waterfalls with refreshing aquamarine water hidden away in a tropical rainforest is certainly another amazing spot for travelers. For those who love the extreme, they can cliff jump and cascade into the deep water. To make it more challenging and fun, one can use the rope swing that hangs from the tree.

Pitogo Cliff (Tag-ibo, San Juan, Siquijor)

This newly-discovered tourist destination offers visitors the opportunity to see the astonishing rock formations and the breathtaking view of the clear sea below where turtles and other marine life can be found. The stunning sunset view is certainly not to be missed.
