Siquijor has two operating seaports namely Larena and Siquijor Port and one airport located in Cang-alwang, Siquijor, Siquijor. At the opposite side of the island facing Mindanao, there is also Lazi Port but non-operational as of the moment.
Siquijor Airport
Siquijor Airport is located in Barangay Cang-alwang, Siquijor, Siquijor. The airport caters chartered private planes and small aircrafts. Currently, the airport is closed since it is undergoing rehabilitation to accommodate bigger aircrafts to attract and eventually cater more tourists. The airport terminal in the photo is newly constructed however, terminal equipments and facilities are not yet in place.
Larena Port
Larena town, being the center of commerce in Siquijor has one of the busiest port in the island. Located in downtown Larena, the port caters ships plying to Cebu, Mindanao, Bohol and Dumaguete. At present, ferry companies that operate in the port are Lite Ferries and Maayo Shipping. However, before COVID-19, Ocean Jet, Montenegro Lines and Aleson Shipping were also operating in the port.
Siquijor Port
Siquijor Port is the main gateway for tourists since fastcrafts and ships from nearby Dumaguete City docks regularly and more frequently in this port before COVID 19. Currently only cargo ships of Montenegro and Aleson Shipping Lines are operating and have no fixed schedule yet just depending on cargo availability.
Presently, the port is undergoing port expansion and rehabilitation under the Philippine Ports Authority.
